Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer Sussex & Gatwick Area £38,000 - £42,000 DOE Excellent Benefits Package

  • Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes
  • Company van provided, including personal use

  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days after 5 years' service
  • Call-out rota: 1 week in 7
  • Standby allowance: £160 per week

The Role

As a Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial sites throughout the Sussex and Gatwick area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively
  • Work on a range of fire alarm systems including Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service delivery
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately

Requirements

  • Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
  • Good working knowledge of leading fire alarm manufacturers, including Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
