We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to join our specialist team. This senior-level position is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge in cooling towers, water treatment systems, remedial works, and compliance servicing. You will play a key role in delivering high standards of service across commercial and industrial client sites throughout East Anglia and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cooling tower monitoring, testing, and compliance checks
  • Cooling tower cleans and disinfections in line with current guidance
  • Inspection and servicing of dosing equipment
  • Probe replacements and calibration
  • Pump servicing, service kits, and fault finding
  • Replacement of dosing pumps, tubing, injectors, buds, and hoses
  • Chemical stock checks and dosing performance reviews
  • Water softener servicing and planned maintenance
  • Installation of service kits and component replacements
  • Closed system sampling and on-site testing
  • Chemical analysis and treatment recommendations
  • Flushing, inhibitor dosing, and corrective actions
  • Monitoring of closed system performance and compliance records
  • Servicing and monitoring of automatic dosing units

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior water hygiene / water treatment engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of cooling towers, water treatment dosing systems, and remedial works
  • Experience with closed systems and domestic dosing units
  • Good understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274, and relevant industry standards
  • Mechanical aptitude with pumps, probes, valves, and dosing equipment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and lead jobs on-site
