We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Powered Access Engineer to join our team. This role involves covering three depots located in West London, Portsmouth, and Bristol. You will work on a wide range of powered access machinery, ensuring they are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. Responsibilities

  • Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of powered access machinery.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
  • Ensuring all equipment complies with safety and operational standards.
  • Providing technical support and advice to depot teams when required.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
  • Travelling between depots in West London, Portsmouth, and Bristol to provide on-site support.
  • Adhering to company policies and health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with powered access machinery or similar equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Day-to-Day

  • Travelling to depots in West London, Portsmouth, and Bristol to carry out maintenance and repairs.
  • Inspecting and diagnosing faults on powered access machinery.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Liaising with depot managers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keeping detailed records of all work completed.
  • Responding to urgent repair requests and providing timely solutions.
