Workshop Engineer Materials Handling Location: Bury St Edmunds Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 DOE + Overtime + Benefits Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday) About the Role We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Workshop Engineer to join a well-established and growing material handling business. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of materials handling equipment and plant machinery within a busy workshop environment. You will work as part of a skilled engineering team and report directly to the Workshop Manager. This is a hands-on workshop-based role offering stability, technical variety, and opportunities for ongoing development within a supportive, family-oriented business. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair materials handling and powered access equipment Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs Replace or repair faulty components as required Prepare equipment for customer delivery and inspections Complete planned maintenance and workshop repair tasks efficiently Work closely with the Workshop Manager
