This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of plant machinery, including equipment up to 60 tons, while covering the South West region.

Responsibilities As a Mobile Plant Engineer, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of plant machinery, including heavy equipment up to 60 tons.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure optimal machine performance.
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Providing exceptional customer service while working on-site at client locations across the South West region.
Maintaining accurate service records and adhering to company and industry safety standards.
Collaborating with the wider engineering team to share knowledge and ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience working with plant machinery, ideally with equipment up to 60 tons.
A relevant NVQ in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
A full UK driving license.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve: Starting your day at 8:00 AM and finishing at 4:30 PM, with a 40-hour workweek.
Traveling to client sites across the South West region in a company-provided van, with door-to-door pay.
Performing scheduled maintenance and responding to breakdowns as required.
Utilizing manufacturer training and resources to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and repair techniques.
Collaborating with clients to ensure their machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
