My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company, offering a range of services and products within a large variety of industries. Priding themselves on the ability to offer first class emergency service to clients by attending site and assisting with the replacement of hydraulic hoses. My client is growing and are looking for a Mobile Hose Engineer to join their team.
As a Mobile Hose Engineer, you will have experience in attending sites and assisting with the replacement of hydraulic hoses. As you progress and develop your knowledge, my client will invest time and industry recognised qualifications to support you in your career and professional development working towards a Hydraulic Service Engineer role.
Location: North East
£30,000 - £34,000, 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Overtime, On Call, Bonus, phone, van, mobile and pension. (OTE of £48,000)
Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
On call 1 week in 8
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Maintain relationships with existing clients needs.
- Assist in building the companies reputation within the hydraulic field.
- Ensure all HSE guidelines are followed.
- Provide professional onsite hydraulic hose replacement services to a high standard.
- Work closely with other mobile engineers to assist with issues on various sites.
- Manage vehicle to maintain stock levels, routine maintenance, and documentation of your van.
- Ensure equipment used is maintained and make changes when required.
- Attend weekly/monthly staff meetings.
- Attend industry specific training courses when required to do so.
- Manufacture hydraulic hoses from technical information or patterns.
- Update company CRM system on all work complete.

- Understanding of hydraulic hose replacement process.
- Experience working within an engineering environment.
- Good communication skills both written and verbally.
- Able to communicate technical information to all personnel.
- The ability to present yourself professionally.
- Hydraulic hose experience.
- Able to manage workload.
- Experience in fault finding / troubleshooting.
- Confident to work independently.
- Full UK driving license.
