Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of heavy plant machinery, including Volvo, CAT, and Komatsu equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
- Provide on-site support to clients, including emergency breakdown repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or similar role, with expertise in heavy plant machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently and effectively.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote role.
Day-to-Day:
- Work remotely, traveling to client sites to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Spend 1-2 nights away from home per week, with overnight allowances provided.
- Work a basic 39-hour week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Overtime opportunities available after 39 hours, with double time rates.
