My client is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join their established London team. This role is ideal for a BMS Service engineer with a minimum of 3 years hands-on BMS experience who can confidently deliver service, maintenance, and fault-finding across a portfolio of commercial and mixed-use sites.
You will be responsible for independently managing planned and reactive maintenance tasks, diagnosing complex system faults, and delivering system improvements across Centraline, Schneider, and Tridium platforms.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS systems across multiple sites.
- Attend and resolve reactive callouts, diagnosing and rectifying hardware and software faults.
- Carry out system modifications, software adjustments, and controller upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for system optimisation and energy efficiency improvements.
- Produce detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company health & safety policies and industry standards.
Minimum 3 years experience as a BMS Service Engineer.
Solid understanding of HVAC plant, mechanical services, and control strategies.
Experience with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and M-Bus.
Electrical knowledge including panel fault-finding and I/O testing.
Experience carrying out software modifications and small upgrades.
Good IT skills and experience producing service documentation.
Full UK driving licence.
