On behalf of a forward-thinking organisation delivering innovative energy-efficient solutions, we are recruiting an experienced LED Electrical Design Engineer to support a growing portfolio of projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and public sector environments. This is a hands-on technical role, offering the opportunity to work across the full design lifecycle on projects that drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and modernisation of existing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compliant, energy-efficient LED lighting designs across a range of sectors
- Conduct site surveys and engage directly with clients to understand project requirements
- Produce detailed electrical and lighting designs, including drawings and calculations
- Develop wiring schematics, load calculations, and circuit schedules
- Select appropriate products and ensure integration with existing electrical systems
- Identify non-compliances and define enabling works where required
- Prepare installation documentation and support delivery through to commissioning
- Provide technical assurance, including installation sign-off and certification review
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients throughout project delivery
