Job Description
Job Title: Lead AV Installation Engineer
Location: St Albans
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (08:30 – 17:30)
Job Purpose Summary:
As the Lead AV Installation Engineer, you will take the lead in installing a variety of AV and video conferencing solutions for corporate clients across the UK, with a primary focus on the London area. Your role will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and complete installations within specified timelines.
- Install and set up meeting room solutions, LED screens, speaker systems, and other AV systems.
- Provide regular project progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Train and mentor junior engineers as needed.
- Lead and supervise junior engineers and contractors on site.
- Assemble AV racks both on and off site.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Ensure a safe and tidy workspace, adhering to health and safety policies.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Full UK Driving Licence and valid Passport.
- In-depth knowledge of Audio Visual and Video Conference systems.
- At least 3 years of experience as an AV Engineer.
- Understanding of IT networks.
- Experience with commercial AV systems such as Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Logitech, etc.

- Salary: £38,000 – £42,000
