32 days holiday including bank holidays. Core hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Overtime opportunities at time and a half.
My client is a well-established vehicle dealership and service centre seeking experienced HGV Mechanics to join their workshop team. The role covers a broad range of work, from routine servicing and inspections through to advanced diagnostics, engine repairs, and MOT preparation.
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and safety inspections on HGVs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with DVSA standards
- Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Work to manufacturer guidelines and workshop health & safety standards
Previous experience as an HGV / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic is required.
Relevant qualification (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent) is necessary.
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).
