Job Title: Qualified Industrial Electrician (2-Week Contract)
Location: Bolnhurst
Contract Length: 2 weeks
Start Date: ASAP with possible additional works
We are seeking a fully qualified Industrial Electrician to join our team on a short-term contract. The successful candidate will carry out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance works in line with industry standards, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, gland, and terminate armoured cables and containment systems in accordance with BS 7671 and site drawings.
- Install and connect electrical equipment, components, and wiring systems.
- Carry out testing of electrical systems and continuity of circuits, diagnosing and resolving faults as required.
- Work in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations, producing risk assessments and method statements where necessary.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals to plan and complete tasks effectively.
- Safely isolate electrical supplies and coordinate work areas with other trades.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully qualified electrician with solid experience and up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Valid ECS Grading Card and relevant health & safety certifications.
- Anglian Water Passport
- Strong ability to inspect, test, commission, and fault-find electrical plant and equipment.
- Proactive approach to hazard identification and safety compliance.
Desirable:
Previous experience working within the water industry (or other industrial sectors).
