Job Description

My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company, offering a range of services and products within a large variety of industries. Priding themselves on the ability to offer first class services both on site from their Hydraulic Engineers and when dealing directly with bespoke needs from client. My client is growing and are looking for Hydraulic Engineer to join their team. As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will have experience in mechanical plant / engineering with a good understanding of Hydraulic Systems and schematic drawings. For the right candidate additional training will be provided.

Hydraulic Engineer

Location: North West (Liverpool)

£34,000 – £36,000, 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, phone, van, mobile and pension. (OTE of £55000)

Monday to Friday – 8am-4.30pm

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working along side technical director to quote and support clients needs.
  • Assist in building the companies reputation within the hydraulic field.
  • Implement and improve hydraulic equipment.
  • Provide professional onsite hydraulic repairs/services.
  • Work closely with engineers to assist with issues on various sites.
  • Ensure the highest levels of HSE are met and always maintained.
  • Manage vehicle to maintain stock levels, routine maintenance and documentation.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

  • Strong Hydraulic and Mechanical knowledge.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Able to communicate technical information to all personnel.
  • The ability to present yourself professionally.
  • Experience operating and testing hydraulic valves, pumps and motors.
  • Hydraulic qualification.
  • GCSE in Maths and English.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Be able to read schematic drawings.
  • Comfortable working alone/unsupervised working to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in hydraulic fault finding / trouble shooting.
  • Full UK driving license
