Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns.
- Carry out hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Operate workshop machinery including lathes and pillar drills.
- Perform fabrication, repair, and modification work where required.
- Undertake soldering and welding tasks to support engineering and maintenance activities.
- Carry out basic electrical fault-finding and repair work.
- Assist with machinery installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.
- Support production operations by minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Proven experience within a mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering, or manufacturing environment.
