We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter to join our team, covering the North of Scotland and the surrounding isles. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a variety of heavy plant machinery, including Volvo, Liebherr, and CAT equipment.   • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of heavy plant machinery, including Volvo, Liebherr, and CAT equipment.
  • Travel across the North of Scotland and the isles to provide on-site support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Proven experience as a heavy plant fitter or similar role, with expertise in working on Volvo, Liebherr, and CAT machinery.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight when required.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on heavy plant machinery.
  • Ensure the company van is stocked with necessary tools and parts for each job.

Competitive hourly rate of £20ph - £23ph, with overtime. Company-provided van for work purposes. Private healthcare coverage. Generous holiday entitlement of 33 days per year.
