My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company, offering a top draw professional 24/7 hose servicing service. Priding themselves on the ability to offer emergency service to clients by attending site and assisting with clients needs. Due to an exciting period of growth they are now looking for a Hydraulic Hose Assembly Technician to join their team and be responsible for the assembly, testing and management of hydraulic hose systems & fittings.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
£28,000 Starting salary
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Over time, health care and pension.
Role Overview
The Hose Assembly Technician will be responsible for identifying, assembling, testing, and managing hydraulic hose systems and fittings to meet customer and industry standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a depot environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble hydraulic and industrial hose kits to specification
- Cut hose to required lengths using appropriate equipment
- Fit and secure couplings, fittings, and connectors
- Carry out pressure testing and quality checks where required
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate records of assembled items and stock usage
- Ensure all work is completed to company quality and safety standards
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe
- Assist with general depot duties when required
Skills & Experience
