We are seeking a professional and safety-focused Class 1 or 2 ADR Driver to join our growing transport operation. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery of hazardous goods to domestic, commercial, and industrial customers across Scotland and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety, customer service, and regulatory compliance while representing the business in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport and deliver hazardous goods in accordance with ADR regulations and company procedures.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
  • Ensure all transport documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Load, unload, and handle products safely following operational procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all road transport legislation, tachograph regulations, and driver hours rules.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of company vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively with transport planners, depot teams, and customers.

Essential

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Current ADR Certificate.
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good understanding of driver hours and transport legislation.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within fuel, chemicals, gases, or hazardous goods transport.
  • Tanker experience.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing delivery environment.
