We are seeking a Service Engineer (Multiskilled) with electrical knowledge to join my client, a leading provider of food preparation machinery that supplies to the meat, fish & poultry sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to be involved in full-coverage installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced food production machinery.
Responsibilities include:
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of machinery across various food production sites.
- Networking: running ethernet cables, changing IO cards, and IP addresses.
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams to work with 415V three-phase systems, servo drives, analog inputs, frequency converters, amplifiers, inverters, and motors.
- PLC fault-finding and full networking within HMI systems.
Requirements:
- Some form of engineering qualification (preferably apprentice trained).
- Experience working with factory machinery or industrial maintenance.
- Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and perform PLC fault-finding.
- Previous experience in field service or maintenance engineering is preferred.
