We are recruiting for a Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing Building Services contractor delivering Mechanical and HVAC projects across the North West. This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Estimator, Pre-Construction Manager or Project Manager with strong commercial awareness and Design & Build experience.
The Role
- You will manage projects from initial enquiry through to handover, building client relationships, developing technical solutions and producing accurate estimates.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing all pre-construction activities
- Building relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Undertaking site surveys
- Producing estimates, tenders and cost plans
- Reviewing specifications and design criteria
- Assisting with design development and equipment selection
- Obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Managing project risks, exclusions and qualifications
- Supporting project delivery teams where required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Mechanical / HVAC Building Services contractor background
- Design & Build project experience
- Estimating and tendering experience
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Client-facing and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
