Purpose of the Role
A growing construction company operating across the Northwest. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team, working on a range of commercial projects including installations, servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns. You will work across aerospace, health and education sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, skilled engineer looking for steady work and long-term prospects with a developing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial gas appliances and systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
- Commercial boiler and heating system works
- Working in plant rooms, pipework, and associated controls
- Carrying out gas safety checks and compliance documentation
- Liaising with site managers, clients, and other trades
- Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and H&S standards
You must have or hold:
- Valid Gas Safe Registration (Commercial)
- ACS Commercial qualifications (e.g. CCN1, CEN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, TPCP1, ICPN1 as applicable)
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Gas / Plumbing / Heating
- Proven experience in commercial gas work
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
