We are working with a UK-based Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and market leader in product inspection technology. All machines are manufactured in the UK, and due to continued aggressive growth, they are seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Engineer to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected brand supplying cutting-edge inspection equipment to major food manufacturers across the UK.
The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling a range of capital equipment solutions into blue-chip food manufacturers. Typical products include:
- Checkweighers
- Metal Detection Systems
- X-ray Inspection Systems
- Other Product Inspection (PI) Equipment
This is a technical, solution-based sales role where you will work closely with engineering and production teams to identify problems and deliver tailored solutions. You will be expected to spend four days per week visiting customers and one day working from home, developing relationships and generating new business opportunities. Typical sales cycles range from 12 weeks to 6 months, with average order values between £50,000 and £100,000. You will carry an annual sales target of £1 million.

- Full UK driving licence
- Experience selling capital equipment
- Background within the food manufacturing industry
- Engineering or technical understanding
- Experience in technical or solution-based sales
