We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected fire and security business with a long-standing presence in the industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable branch with a strong reputation, offering long-term career progression, funded training, and a supportive management team.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault finding of a range of fire and security systems across a varied client base including commercial, retail, industrial, facilities management companies, and some domestic properties. You will be covering the Bristol and surrounding areas, including:
- South Wales
- Swindon
- Worcester
- Weston-Super-Mare
Additional coverage may include parts of:
- Devon
- Winchester
- New Forest
- Bournemouth
- Salisbury
Travel is kept reasonable, ideally keeping your travel until 1 hour and 30 minutes from your address.
Systems You’ll Be Working On
Experience with some or all of the following systems would be highly beneficial:
- Advanced
- C-Cure
- Kentec
- C-Tec
- Texecom
- Hik
- Galaxy
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours
- Typically 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Based on completing a 40-hour week
Call Out
- 1 in 4 call out rota
- £210 standby allowance per week
- Overtime paid at: Time and a Half, Double Time on Sundays
Package
- Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
- Company vehicle (estate car or small van) with personal use available
- Fuel card provided
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Holiday entitlement increases with service

Reporting To
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, working within a well-supported and experienced engineering team.
