Role Overview:
As a BMS Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Building Management System (BMS) Engineering team, delivering optimisation, preventative, and reactive maintenance projects within sectors such as commercial, schools, and leisure. This role involves overseeing small to medium-sized projects, with a focus on BMS system programming and software strategy development. Experience with Trend and/or Tridium is preferred.
You will receive ongoing technical training, offering significant professional development opportunities and long-term career progression, within a company that is currently experiencing fantastic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute key project deliverables related to BMS installation and optimisation.
- Handle both planned and reactive BMS maintenance, remotely and on-site.
- Develop and implement energy-saving strategies through the BMS platform.
- Work closely with clients to ensure projects run smoothly, identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party contractors to meet project goals.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and software developments within the BMS field.
Candidate Requirements:
- Expertise in Trend systems is essential. Knowledge or experience with Tridium platforms is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to create and modify software strategies for BMS platforms.
- Solid understanding of project delivery methods and ability to solve complex problems.
- Full, clean driving license is required.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and a positive team-player attitude.
