A family-run materials handling company that is continuing to grow and expand its presence across the region is looking to add an experienced Service Engineer.
They supply, service, and maintain a wide range of materials handling equipment from multiple leading brands, supporting a strong and loyal customer base. They are now looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality service and maintenance across Yorkshire.
The Role:- Service, repair, and maintain a range of materials handling equipment with a strong focus on counterbalance forklifts and Flexi articulated trucks.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service while working independently on-site.
- Cover a regional patch across Yorkshire (primarily South, West, and North).
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer / Forklift Engineer.
- Strong multi-skilled background (mechanical & electrical); electrical bias is highly advantageous.
- Experience working with counterbalance forklifts and/or Flexi trucks is highly desirable.
- Confident working independently and managing your own workload.
- Customer-focused with a professional and proactive approach.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Salary up to £42,000 (depending on experience).
- Company van (with option for personal use).
- Phone and tablet provided.
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
