A leading engineering business operating within the industrial air filtration and dust extraction sector is seeking a Service Engineer to join its growing UK team. This is a field-based role supporting customers across a range of industrial and manufacturing environments, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding, inspections and commissioning activities on dust and fume extraction equipment. The position offers excellent long-term career prospects, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of industrial extraction and filtration systems.

The Role

  • Service, maintain and fault-find on industrial dust and fume extraction systems
  • Carry out inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance activities
  • Support commissioning and installation projects when required
  • Complete service documentation and customer reports accurately
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times
  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider engineering team
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Travel to customer sites throughout the UK

This is a flexible field-based position and will involve occasional weekend work and overnight stays. On average, engineers can expect approximately two nights away per week, although this can vary depending on workload.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working within industrial environments
  • Customer-facing experience and excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing workload effectively
  • IT confident and able to complete service reports and documentation
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Dust extraction experience
  • LEV experience
  • Industrial filtration experience
  • P601 qualification
  • P602 qualification
  • HVAC, ventilation, compressed air or similar industrial service background
