We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refurb Plant Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in plant or vehicle maintenance to work in a workshop-based role. Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance on a variety of machines, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.
- Stripping down machinery and rebuilding them to optimal working condition.
- Diagnosing and resolving faults in a timely and effective manner.
- Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure workshop operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- A recognized qualification in plant or vehicle maintenance.
- Proven experience in machine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and equipment refurbishment.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-Day
- Working in a workshop-based environment from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Performing hands-on maintenance, stripping, and rebuilding of machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure equipment is operational.
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- Optional weekend work for those seeking additional hours and overtime opportunities.
