We are recruiting for a Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing Building Services contractor delivering Mechanical and HVAC projects across the North West. This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Estimator, Pre-Construction Manager or Project Manager with strong commercial awareness and Design & Build experience.

The Role

You will manage projects from initial enquiry through to handover, building client relationships, developing technical solutions and producing accurate estimates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all pre-construction activities
  • Building relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Undertaking site surveys
  • Producing estimates, tenders and cost plans
  • Reviewing specifications and design criteria
  • Assisting with design development and equipment selection
  • Obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Managing project risks, exclusions and qualifications
  • Supporting project delivery teams where required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Mechanical / HVAC Building Services contractor background
  • Design & Build project experience
  • Estimating and tendering experience
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding
  • Client-facing and relationship-building skills
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
