Purpose of the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of water treatment clients. This role combines account management, business development, and technical consultation, ensuring customers receive high-quality water treatment solutions and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and account reviews.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contract renewals.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations relating to water treatment systems and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional services, products, and contract renewals.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain CRM records and support sales targets.

You must have or hold

  • Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, or a related industry.
  • Proven account management or business development experience.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and commercial skills.
  • Knowledge of cooling towers, closed systems, boilers, and Legionella compliance is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
