Role Overview
We are a well-established engineering business with over 30 years experience, now looking to strengthen our team with a Field Service Engineer. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team with long-term stability and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Field-based, working independently at customer sites
- Installation, servicing, preventative maintenance & breakdown support
- Working on a wide range of machine tools: milling machines, lathes, borers, saws, and fabrication equipment
- Typically, 1 job per day (or longer depending on scope)
- Covering mainly Sheffield to the North East, with occasional UK-wide travel
What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical background with comfortable electrical knowledge
- Experience with machine tools / metal cutting machinery
- Able to work independently and represent the company professionally
- Competent, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Full UK driving licence
