Role Overview

We are a well-established engineering business with over 30 years experience, now looking to strengthen our team with a Field Service Engineer. With a growing workload and a mix of experienced engineers and apprentices, this is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team with long-term stability and progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field-based, working independently at customer sites
  • Installation, servicing, preventative maintenance & breakdown support
  • Working on a wide range of machine tools: milling machines, lathes, borers, saws, and fabrication equipment
  • Typically, 1 job per day (or longer depending on scope)
  • Covering mainly Sheffield to the North East, with occasional UK-wide travel

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical background with comfortable electrical knowledge
  • Experience with machine tools / metal cutting machinery
  • Able to work independently and represent the company professionally
  • Competent, reliable, and safety-conscious
  • Full UK driving licence
