About the Company
Our services include environmental monitoring and consultancy, water safety and hygiene solutions, Legionella risk assessments, water system management, fire safety consultancy and inspections, occupational hygiene assessments, workplace exposure monitoring, and specialist advisory support on regulatory and sustainability challenges. We are looking for a driven, dependable, and flexible professional to join our expanding team in Glasgow. As part of the Water Hygiene division, you will need to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team. Due to the nature of the role, travel will form part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
Your primary duties will include undertaking Legionella risk assessments, written scheme audits, and internal quality checks across a range of client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella risk assessments of domestic and commercial water systems
- Complete audits of management controls and planned preventative monitoring regimes
- Carry out internal quality checks and compliance reviews
- Undertake general water hygiene tasks including outlet flushing, temperature monitoring, and water sampling
- Produce clear, accurate, and professional reports for clients
- Build strong working relationships with customers and site contacts
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with current legislation and company procedures
About You
- WMSoc or City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment
- Working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS 8580
- Understanding of complex water systems including water softeners, vehicle washes, and industrial processes – desirable
- Experience of written scheme of control audits
- Strong client communication skills
- Competent report writing ability
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Flexibility to travel as required
- Ability to pass Enhanced DBS checks and obtain MOD security clearance
