Our client, a well-established and growing Building Management Systems specialist, is currently seeking an experienced BMS Small Works Engineer to join their team covering London and East Anglia. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled BMS professional looking to join a reputable company delivering a wide range of small works projects across commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver BMS small works projects from initial stages through to completion
  • Carry out commissioning, testing, and modification of BMS systems
  • Diagnose and resolve system faults efficiently
  • Modify control strategies, graphics, and software where required
  • Work across systems such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Distech, Schneider, or similar
  • Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Produce technical reports and project documentation
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard
  • Provide technical support to wider engineering teams when required

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience within the BMS / Building Controls industry
  • Strong understanding of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Distech, or Schneider
  • Experience delivering small works, upgrades, or commissioning projects
  • Electrical qualifications or engineering background advantageous
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites
