An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis, working on a range of civil infrastructure and construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer looking for stability, long-term progression, and the chance to work with a well-respected contractor delivering high-quality projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering support on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and to programme. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting out for civil engineering works (roads, drainage, groundworks, utilities, etc.)
- Managing and checking drawings, specifications, and RAMS
- Ensuring quality control and compliance with design and HSEQ standards
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
- Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or construction
- Strong setting-out skills using GPS / Total Station
- Good understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- CSCS card (essential)
- SMSTS / First Aid (desirable but not essential)
