Transport Planner Lockerbie Up to £40,(Apply online only) per annum 29 days, including bank holidays With over 40 years industry experience, my client is looking for an experienced Transport Planner with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. You will be responsible for planning flatbed arctics to collect and deliver goods across the UK on behalf of their customers. You will effectively communicate with drivers and customers to make sure deliveries are made on time every day, safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Daily Load Planning: Coordinate and optimize routes for flatbed deliveries to ensure timely service to customers. Driver Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers to monitor progress and address any on-the-road challenges. Customer Coordination: Provide updates to customers and handle delivery requirements or adjustments efficiently. Compliance: Ensure operations meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any day-to-day transport issues that may arise. Ideal Candidate Profile: Previous experience as a Traffic Planner or similar logistics/transport planning role. Strong knowledge of UK road transport regulations and routes. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Proficient in transport management systems and software. In return My client is offering a very competitive salary up to 40k per annum.
