Salary: From £45,000 to £47,000 plus package (not put on the on call rota)
We are looking for a highly skilled Building Services Engineer for a Lead position based on a large static site in the Swindon area. This Lead Engineer will be technical in either Electrical or Mechanical building services maintenance, with a hands-on attitude.
Responsibilities include:
- Tool box talks with the client
- Planning the on-site engineers and materials
- Sign off Risk Assessments
- Dealing with all Method Statements
- Managing the sub-contractors
- Technical support to the client and engineers
- Internal Audits of the sub-contractors and on-site engineers
- Attend client meetings to provide technical support to the managers
The right person for this position will already have a strong building services maintenance background and experience as a supervising engineer. They need to have a very strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Qualifications required:
- Qualified electrician preferably with test and inspect
- Mechanical engineer with an NVQ mechanical qualification (not plumbing)
This is an on-site position; however, we would prefer this person to have a full UK driving licence to travel around the site.
Package includes:
- Basic salary based on a 40 hour week
- Overtime available
- No added to the on-call rota
- Pension
- Site hours 7.45am until 4.45 pm
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
