The company has been running for 50+ years as a leading manufacturer in the UK and they are seeking a Business Development Manager who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company.
Position: Business Development Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Location: Wales - Remote

Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly prospecting new customers and using a solution/consultative approach.
- New business development & lead generation
- £2,000,000 portfolio to manage, nurture and regularly up-sell
- Contributing to sales budget, revenue monitoring, and margin improvement
- Continue to look at market trends and growth areas.
- Working closely with the design team to come up with new ideas for products.
- Engaging with customers in the UK and possibly expanding into new markets
Requirements:
- 2+ years minimum experience in packaging products such as, heavy duty & conventional corrugate. However, packaging specialists from outside of the industry will also be considered.
- Must be happy to achieve £300,000 - £400,000 plus targets.
- Familiarity with Welch regions/areas
- Strong business development & account management skills
- Experience in sales and a technical understanding of packaging products
