Are you a hardworking, reliable individual looking for your next opportunity within a busy warehouse and stores environment? We're recruiting for a Stores Assistant to join a growing and fast-paced business based in South Cheshire. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently while supporting production and delivering excellent service to customers.

The Role

  • Receiving, unloading and storing goods safely and accurately.
  • Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders to ensure they arrive on time and in excellent condition.
  • Supplying materials and components to manufacturing and production teams efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
  • Supporting colleagues and being flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties.
  • Undertaking any additional tasks required by management.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or similar environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Driving licence is required due to office location.

Desirable

  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience using hand-held scanning devices.
  • Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (these candidates will be given preference).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of warehouse or engineering environments.

Please note: This role is physically demanding and requires manual handling throughout the working day.
