Site Manager – Civil Engineering | £300M Major Infrastructure Project Trafford Park, Manchester Permanent | £55,000 – £65,000 + Package (DOE) About the Project We are recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager to join the delivery team on a flagship £300 million infrastructure scheme located near Trafford Park, Manchester. Spanning 3 years, this project involves major groundworks, utilities diversions, reinforced concrete structures, and large-scale public infrastructure upgrades. As Site Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of a high-performing team delivering one of the most significant civil engineering projects in the North West. Key Responsibilities Manage daily site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery Oversee groundworks, drainage, utility packages, and RC frame construction Lead and coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and plant activities Enforce health & safety standards (RAMS, HSE, CDM compliance) Maintain site diaries, quality control documentation, and progress reports Collaborate closely with engineers, planners, and commercial teams Attend site meetings and support project planning & delivery objectives What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale civils or infrastructure projects Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, drainage, and concrete structures Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Gold/Black), and First Aid qualifications Track record of managing teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across the Manchester region What’s on Offer £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) Company vehicle or car allowance Private healthcare & pension scheme Structured progression and training opportunities Long-term role on a major, career-defining civil engineering project Apply Now Ready to step into a high-impact leadership role on a multi-million-pound infrastructure project?
