Your Role: As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you\’ll play a critical role in delivering fire detection and suppression systems to the highest standards. From advanced configuration to flawless handovers, you’ll lead commissioning processes that not only meet expectations—but exceed them. Key Responsibilities: Commission addressable, conventional, and gaseous fire alarm systems in full alignment with BS5839-1. Configure, test, and document complex Cause & Effect programming and integrations, including graphical interfaces. Work with industry-leading systems including Advanced, Kentec, Notifier, Siemens, Gent, and EST. Partner with project managers and installation teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery of projects. Lead on-site handovers, client training, consultant witness tests, and sign-offs. Troubleshoot technical challenges, identify risks, and ensure smooth resolution. Maintain detailed commissioning documentation and compliance certifications. Deliver an exceptional client experience with a professional, proactive approach. What We’re Looking For: 10+ years of hands-on experience commissioning fire detection systems. FIA Modules 1, 2, 3 (or equivalent up-to-date certifications). Solid track record with leading fire alarm technologies. Strong analytical and fault-finding skills. Confident interpreting and working from technical drawings and specs. IT literate with knowledge of networked and integrated systems. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
