My client is a well-established Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality smart building and controls solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a BMS Estimator to join their expanding sales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in BMS, controls, HVAC or building services who enjoys producing accurate estimates and working closely with both technical and commercial teams.
The Role
As a BMS Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive quotations for a range of BMS projects. Working closely with the sales, engineering and project delivery teams, you'll ensure tenders are commercially viable, technically compliant and submitted on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed cost estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Price hardware, software and labour requirements for complete BMS solutions.
- Review tender documents, identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit high-quality tender proposals.
- Support project handovers following successful bids.
- Keep up to date with industry products, pricing and market trends.

- Estimating experience within BMS, controls, HVAC or building services.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
