Remedials Technician
Location: East Midlands
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 + company van, fuel card, credit card, overtime, phone, pension and 25 days holiday + bank holidays

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Remedials Technician to join a growing Small Works team.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a solid background in the water hygiene industry, who enjoys variety and wants the opportunity to work across a range of water hygiene, remedial and treatment projects.
The Role
As a Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Water temperature testing in line with ACOP L8 requirements
- Flushing and remedial works
- Showerhead cleaning and disinfection
- TMV servicing
- Water sampling
- Electronic record keeping and reporting
- Cold water storage tank inspections
- Tank cleaning and disinfection
- Mains injections
- Calorifier cleans and inspections
- Swimming pool sampling
- Closed system sampling and analysis
- Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
- General water hygiene and remedial works as required
You'll ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years' Water Hygiene experience
- Good knowledge of water hygiene procedures and legislation
- Experience carrying out sampling, temperature monitoring and remedial works
- Basic plumbing skills
- Experience with water hygiene remedials
- Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- A professional approach when dealing with customers
- A full UK driving licence
