Parts Controller
Location: Grantham
Salary: £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
We’re recruiting for an experienced Parts Controller to join a busy materials handling operation in Grantham.
The Role:
- Sourcing and ordering parts for material handling equipment
- Managing stock, purchase orders and sales enquiries
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure parts are available when needed
- Coordinating urgent parts deliveries to service engineers
- Maintaining accurate stock records and processing returns
- Supporting the service team to minimise equipment downtime
- Providing excellent customer service to engineers and customers
About You:
- Previous parts experience within forklift, plant, automotive, agricultural or industrial equipment
- Good knowledge of spare parts and part-number identification
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills and experience using stock management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively
