Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime

We're looking for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join a growing business, servicing commercial sites across the North East.

The Role

  • Service, maintenance, and fault-finding of security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control.
  • Carry out servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems where required.
  • Work across a range of commercial sites, including care homes, car dealerships, offices, and industrial premises.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service while maintaining strong technical standards.

Experience Required

  • Experience with any of the following systems is desirable:
  • Security
  • Galaxy
  • Paxton
  • CCTV systems
  • Intruder alarm systems
  • Access control systems

Package

  • Up to £40,000 basic salary
  • Company van and fuel card
  • Company laptop and mobile phone
  • Private pension
  • 22 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • 40-hour working week
  • Ongoing training and career progression

Overtime Rates

  • Flat rate: Monday–Friday, 5:00am–8:00pm
  • Time and a half: Monday–Friday, 8:00pm–12:00am, and Saturdays until 1:00pm
  • Double time: 12:00am–5:00am, Sundays, and Bank Holidays
  • On-call engineers receive a £160 standby payment, plus overtime for all call-outs.
