Head of Projects - HVAC / Mechanical Location: North Manchester Base with National Travel Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus Benefits: Car Allowance, Pension, Life/Health Benefits An established and growing HVAC and mechanical contractor is looking for an experienced Head of Projects / Senior Project Manager to lead its Project Management team. This is a senior role overseeing 5 Project Managers and taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of HVAC and mechanical projects across the UK. You will be the first point of call for technical project issues, supporting Project Managers with complex challenges and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. The Role Lead, manage and support a team of 5 Project Managers Act as the technical escalation point for HVAC and mechanical project issues Oversee project delivery, progress, quality and health & safety Monitor project costs, margins and overall profitability Support procurement of equipment, materials and subcontract packages Identify and resolve technical and operational problems Ensure Project Managers are delivering projects to the required standards Visit projects throughout the UK as required What We're Looking For Strong technical background within HVAC / mechanical building services Proven experience managing and overseeing Project Managers Extensive mechanical/HVAC project management experience Strong understanding of project costs, margins and commercial performance Confident resolving complex technical and site-based issues Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership and problem-solving skills If you're the person Project Managers turn to when a project gets difficult and you're ready to take ownership of an entire projects team, apply today!
