Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: North West
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience plus company van, fuel card, phone, uniform, tools, PPE, pension and 28 days holiday including statutory days
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer looking for your next opportunity in the North West?
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing team, carrying out essential water hygiene services across a range of client sites throughout the North West.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete sentinel outlet temperature checks and record results accurately.
- Undertake water sampling and temperature monitoring.
- Inspect, clean & disinfect cold water storage tanks.
- Carry out showerhead cleaning and descaling.
- Complete flushing of infrequently used outlets.
- Conduct TMV servicing.
- Maintain accurate service records, site reports and compliance documentation.
About You
- Previous experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer/Technician
- Knowledge of hot and cold water systems and associated water hygiene risks.
- Experience carrying out temperature monitoring, flushing, sampling and tank inspections.
- An understanding of Legionella control and relevant industry guidance.
- A full UK driving licence.
