I am representing a well-established and highly regarded business within the architectural and premium lighting sector, looking to appoint an experienced Senior Client Development Manager. This is a senior, client-facing sales role focused on developing high-value relationships, growing key accounts and generating new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of major clients, building relationships at senior and C-suite level, identifying new opportunities and driving projects through the sales process.
Key Requirements
- Strong background within the lighting industry, ideally architectural or specification lighting
- Proven experience in senior business development, account management or specification sales
- Experience working with high-value clients and developing long-term relationships
- Comfortable engaging with architects, designers and senior stakeholders
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to generate and develop their own opportunities
- Strong networking, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven with a disciplined and professional approach to sales
- Honest, reliable and no-nonsense approach with strong personal ownership
Package
- Salary: Circa Β£65,000, depending on experience
- Excellent OTE and earning potential for high performers
- Home-based role with travel to clients and industry events
- Travel to London approximately once or twice per quarter for sales meetings and time with senior leadership
Interview Process
The first stage will be a Teams interview with HR and the Sales Director, including a short presentation outlining a 30/60-day plan (maximum five slides). Successful candidates will then attend a second-stage interview with the CEO.
