I’m looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join an established Civil Engineering & Groundworks Contractor, covering three live residential developments across the Wirral and Manchester. This is a strong 8-week freelance run for an engineer who knows housing groundworks inside out and can hit the ground running from day one.
THE WORK:
- Housing groundworks
- Roads & sewers
- Drainage & infrastructure
- Foundations & plot works
- Kerbs, levels and externals
- Setting out and surveying
- QA, as-builts and site records
- Working closely with Site Managers and groundwork gangs
WHAT I NEED:
You MUST have solid experience working as a Site Engineer on residential/housing groundworks projects. You’ll need to be confident setting out independently and comfortable moving between live sites as required. Own kit would be advantageous, but not essential.
Rate: £320–£350 per day, depending on experience
Approximately 8 weeks initially
Starting beginning of September
