Senior Legionella Risk Assessor Location: Midlands / North | UK-Wide Travel Up to £40,000 DOE + company car, fuel card, phone, laptop, pension and 23 days holiday excluding bank holidays The Opportunity This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on producing high-quality, compliant Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 04-01. You'll be responsible for assessing a range of complex water systems, producing detailed reports, advising clients on compliance and remedial actions, and supporting the development of junior members of the team. There will be plenty of travel involved, so this role would suit someone based across the Midlands or North of England who is comfortable with regular UK-wide travel and overnight stays. What You'll Be Doing Completing high-quality Legionella Risk Assessments on complex domestic hot and cold water systems Assessing commercial, domestic and process systems Identifying risks, hazards and appropriate control measures Producing detailed, accurate and grammatically correct reports Providing clear recommendations and remedial actions Delivering risk assessment findings to clients and Responsible Persons / Duty Holders Liaising with clients and providing expert advice on Legionella and water safety compliance Supporting and mentoring junior Legionella Risk Assessors You'll ideally have: Minimum 3 years' Legionella Risk Assessment experience Proven experience assessing domestic, commercial and process water systems Relevant Legionella Risk Assessment qualifications Strong knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 04-01 Strong report writing and technical documentation skills A full UK driving licence Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away when required Interested?
