An established and highly respected civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Planner to support the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the Midlands. The Role

Working closely with the Operations and Project Management teams, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes from tender stage through to delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain detailed project programme with Microsoft Project.
  • Monitor progress against programme and identify risks, delays and mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers and Site Teams.
  • Prepare programme updates for client and internal meetings.
  • Support tender planning and bid submissions where required.
  • Analyse critical paths and resource requirements.
  • Assist with reporting, forecasting and project performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure.
  • Experience working on highways, earthworks, drainage, structures, utilities or major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
