We are seeking a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our growing team, covering London and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in water hygiene who is looking to work within a professional, well-established organisation offering long-term career development. Closed system knowledge would be a distinct advantage, as the role includes supporting both domestic and commercial water systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems
- Flushing of outlets in line with water hygiene programmes
- Showerhead cleaning, descaling, and disinfection
- Cold water storage tank inspections and basic cleans
- Closed system sampling, dosing, and basic maintenance (where trained)
- TMV checks and servicing (where applicable)
- Accurate completion of site paperwork and electronic reports
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Water Hygiene Technician β minimum 12 months experience
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- Closed system knowledge and experience
- Closed system sampling and chemical dosing experience
- TMV servicing qualifications
- Legionella Risk Assessment awareness

- Salary Β£29,000 β Β£33,000 depending on experience
